You're Halfway There!
The Halfway to Graduation Celebration is designed to congratulate second-year students and transfer students on reaching the halfway point of their time at Loyola University Chicago. Join us in the Damen Student Center, Sister Jean MPR, from 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, during the Weekend of Excellence. At this event, students will enjoy:
- Free lunch
- Chocolate fountains
- Live DJ
- Photo booths
- Activities
- Enter drawings to win great prizes, including 2 pairs of tickets to attend LOLLAPALOOZA
This event is where you will receive your Commitment Key (similar to the key received at Convocation and the key given at Commencement). You will also have the chance to meet your new academic advisor in your college or school. Take this opportunity to take a break from all your hard work and have a great time with friends celebrating this milestone.
You will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the staff and advisors in your college or school as well as junior and senior students. This gives you a chance to meet with some of the people that you will be working closely with over the next two years. It’s also a great opportunity to bond with classmates from the Class of 2016.
