Vladyslava Kachkovska, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the Medical Institute, Sumy State University. In addition to her MD (2011) she holds a PhD in genetics and pulmonology (2013) from Sumy State University. She is a practicing rheumatologist and is a bioethics fellow with Loyola’s Neiswanger Institute for Bioethics through which she is earning a M.A. in bioethics. She was recently hosted as a guest faculty at the University of Wroclaw, Wroclaw University Hospital and has now returned to her position at Sumy State University.
