Amanda Peacock, DNP, APRN, AGNP-C

Health Sciences, Program Director

I am a Clinical Associate Professor in the department of Health Care Administration and Director of the Health Sciences Program. I teach courses related to population health, global health, project management, and interdisciplinary community engagement. My philosophy is that students should drive their learning while I serve as their "GPS."  My practice focuses on community-level chronic disease prevention. I am interested in the role that culture and social determinants play in health and wellbeing. I believe in meeting people where they are (which is usually NOT a health care facility!)
