Grace Loren Kubek is a history major who brings leadership, creativity, and justice-centered scholarship to Loyola. She is president of Phi Alpha Theta, vice president of both the Rainbow Connection and Cross Cultural Liberators, and remains active in student theatre. As a supplemental writing instructor for the ACE program and a Resident Assistant, Grace supports her peers both academically and personally.

“I conduct my research to bring overlooked and underrepresented stories to light.”

Her scholarship explores gender, sexuality, race, and fashion as activism, and she plans to pursue a PhD in history so that she can give back to the next generation of historians as a professor.
