First Year Seminar

This course is required for entering freshmen students where students will explore what it means to be a Loyola student. Students will have the opportunity to learn about Loyola's Jesuit tradition, be introduced to the myriad of services and activities available on campus, in the community, and across the greater Chicagoland area which will contribute to their first year experiences. Students will learn strategies for academic and personal success in college and will reflect on how to make the most of Loyola University in order to shape their undergraduate experience around each student's unique academic, career, and personal goals.

This course is taught as a pass, no pass. This class has a special populations section for student athletes only and is currently a requirement for graduation.
