Piper Hall Construction Update

WLA Reading Room Open by Appointment During Construction
In Summer 2023, Loyola began various stormwater improvements and interventions to protect campus buildings, including Piper Hall. This project includes separation of the storm and sanitary systems. Work in the plaza in front of Piper Hall will continued through Spring 2024. Additional landscaping work may continue over Summer 2024.More information is available here (Piper Hall & Coffey Hall Stormwater Management Project tab). In March 2024, work began on the south lawn of Piper Hall to install a geothermal well. Find more information here (see the 2024 tabs).

Please allow extra time to navigate to the west entrance of Piper Hall since walking paths around the building may change without notice. The courtyard between Mundelein Center, Coffey Hall, and Piper Hall is now open. However, access from the south, especially near the Sullivan Center, may be obstructed.
