Polar Palooza to Feature Crafts, Activities, Local Vendors, and Live Music

To kick off the holiday season, Loyola University Chicago, Rogers Park Business Alliance, and Sheridan Road SSA are co-hosting the inaugural Polar Palooza, a two-day outdoor winter festival, at Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus for Chicago’s north side.

Attendees of all ages can enjoy food from local restaurants, live music, face painting, holiday cookie decorating, a cocoa bar, character meet-and-greets, shopping with local vendors, and more.

In place of event admission, attendees are encouraged to donate canned food items benefitting Edgewater’s Care for Real Food Pantry. Activity tickets will be available for $5 per person and will provide access to crafts, ice skating on a synthetic rink, and unlimited holiday movies at the local cinema, The New 400 Theaters.
