About Gray Decision Intelligence (Gray DI) at Loyola
The Enrollment Systems, Research, and Reporting (ESRR) department introduced Gray Decision Intelligence (Gray DI) to Loyola University Chicago in 2024 to strengthen the university’s capacity for data-informed academic planning and market analysis.
Gray DI provides advanced tools for evaluating program demand, competitiveness, and market trends across higher education, supporting evidence-based decisions about new program development and portfolio management.
ESRR leads the implementation and administration of Gray DI and works closely with academic deans and the Provost’s Office to ensure that insights from Gray DI inform strategic planning and enrollment growth initiatives.
ESRR is available to support Loyola stakeholders—including deans, administrative staff, and colleagues developing new programs or analyzing existing ones—with requests for information and analysis from Gray DI. The team can provide scorecards, generate market predictions, and respond quickly to questions about how to use or interpret Gray DI data.
