History

The Center for Integrated Risk Management and Corporate Governance was created in 2007 pursuing a vision to become an internationally recognized unit and a sophisticated laboratory for conducting scholarly and applied research in risk and teaching in risk management and insurance. In 2022, responding to emerging developments in the field of risk management and insurance, and the unprecedented growth and re-structuring in the insurance industry worldwide, the cener was renamed to the Risk Management and Insurance Center (RMIC).
