Next Generation MBA

The 12-course MBA program includes eight required core courses and four electives. The core has been crafted to prepare students to understand data-driven decision making, as well as master the skills needed for a successful career. The four electives can be customized to your interests.

Current students: Students who began our MBA program before fall 2020 may pursue the program curriculum in effect when they entered the program or may switch to the curriculum below.

Electives

Through the four electives, you can shape your education for your personal career path and interests.

Elective courses can be taken within the Quinlan School of Business or from across Loyola colleges and schools (for example, Social Work, Law, Communications, or the Institute for Environmental Sustainability) for flexibility and customization.

Concentration

You can choose to have a concentration by taking three courses in any one of the following disciplines (four courses for accounting):
