Cait is an adjunct faculty member in the School of Communication at Loyola University Chicago. She is a doctoral candidate in Communication at the University of Illinois Chicago, where her research focuses on human–machine communication and the public’s evolving relationships with artificial intelligence and social robots. Her teaching and research interests include media and technology, communication theory, qualitative research methods, public relations, social justice design, and the cultural and social effects of emerging technologies. She brings professional experience in higher education, academic advising, public relations, and the tech industry, as well as a passion for helping students connect theory to practice in communication, advertising, and public relations.
