EVP and Chief Supply Chain Officer,
McDonald's

Francesca DeBiase oversees McDonald’s Global Supply Chain and is responsible for developing and executing sustainable sourcing strategies across the company’s supply chain footprint. Francesca brings deep expertise in supply chain operations and sustainability, drawing on her extensive experience managing McDonald’s large scale of sourcing, logistics and sustainability initiatives.

In her current role, Francesca and her team ensure relationships with suppliers are based on transparency, inclusion and trust, which lead to strong business performance and a unique competitive advantage for the McDonald’s System. Her team leverages the scale of $50 billion spend in food, packaging, logistics, toys, technology, equipment and other services while driving safety, quality and sustainability leadership in the industry. They also work closely with McDonald’s Global Impact Team to implement actions that drive resilience and brand trust in service of the company’s purpose to feed and foster communities. McDonald’s supply chain is ranked in the Masters Category by Gartner, Inc., highlighting the accomplishments and capabilities of long-term supply chain leaders.

Since joining McDonald’s in 1991, Francesca has held numerous management roles in Supply Chain and Finance in the U.S. and internationally. As Chief Sustainability Officer, Francesca served as a champion for sustainability across the McDonald’s System, working with leaders to embed social and environmental goals into long-term plans to drive meaningful, industry-wide change. Francesca led the revitalization of McDonald’s sustainability vision under the platform of Scale for Good.

Francesca is a member of multiple professional boards, including The Chicago Council on Global Affairs (member, audit committee), Metropolitan Planning Council, Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago and AWESOME (Achieving Women’s Excellence in Supply Chain Operations, Management and Education). She is a strong advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion and is involved in women’s leadership groups such as The Chicago Network (member, nominating committee) and The Belizean Grove.

She began her career with Ernst & Young and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in economics from Loyola University Chicago.
