Non-Tenure Track Chemistry Lecturer
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry invites applications for a non-tenure track, one-year appointment, chemistry lecturer, beginning fall 2013. Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in chemistry or in a closely related field are highly preferred. The position involves teaching General Chemistry lecture and discussion and teaching of a University Core Science Foundation course to a diverse student population with collaboration across different departments. Aptitude for teaching lecture courses in Biochemistry and Nursing Chemistry would be a plus. In the case of Nursing Chemistry overseeing laboratories and directing graduate student teaching assistants will also be required. Chemistry Laboratory Coordinator
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry invites applications for a non-tenure track, one-year appointment, chemistry laboratory coordinator, beginning Fall 2013. Candidates should hold at least an M.S. degree in chemistry or in a closely related field. Applicants will be required to direct graduate student teaching assistants and must have experience effectively teaching chemistry laboratories. The holder of this position will teach laboratory sections of general chemistry and organic chemistry to a diverse student population.
