Spring Thaw Reveals Poop City

Spring Thaw Reveals Poop City

Warmer temperatures and melting snow reveal a rather unclean and unsanitary mess on Lake Shore Campus grounds. Many of Loyola's neighbors enjoy walking their pets on and near campus, however some do not curb their dogs, that is, clean up behind them especially when the weather is cold.

While the University understands that the grass and green space is inviting, it is important that a sense of mutual respect and responsibility for maintaining cleanliness in areas shared among our community members. Please bring plastic bags when walking your pet on campus and if needed, use trash cans to properly dispose of waste. This simple practice will keep campus safe and sanitary for everyone who visits.
