Loyola’s ABA-approved post-baccalaureate Certificate in Paralegal Studies may be earned through the following tracks:
- Students who already hold bachelor’s degrees from regionally accredited colleges or universities complete the curriculum requirements of the Certificate in Paralegal Studies.
- Students who do not yet hold bachelor’s degrees complete the same paralegal certificate curriculum in the final stage of an undergraduate degree-completion program sponsored by Loyola’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
The Institute also permits individual courses to be taken by paralegals who have already earned paralegal certificates or degrees and bachelor’s degrees. The paralegal programs must be ABA approved, and both credentials must be earned at regionally accredited colleges or universities. If space permits, these students will be allowed to register for any Institute courses other than the internship.
