CJC Students Recognized at MCJA Conference

On September 25, 2026, two Criminal Justice & Criminology (CJC) students were honored at the Midwestern Criminal Justice Association (MCJA) conference.
Leah Nuzman (senior CJC major) was recognized with the Undergraduate Paper Award for her original work (Restorative justice and gang desistance: Assessing the conditions for long-term change).
Sydney Lutz (senior CJC major) presented her original research (Examining family-based interventions through the lens of addiction-affected family needs) during the Student Poster Session. She also received one of the inaugural Undergraduate Student Registration Waiver awards by the MCJA Executive Board.
