Loyola University Chicago

Human Services

Faculty

In recognition of the interdisciplinary nature of the field, students will be taught by faculty from the fields of criminal justice, political science, psychology, sociology and social work. Faculty will bring to the classroom a wide array of research and practice experiences with the various populations of individuals who benefit from the work of human services professionals.

In addition, part-time instructors will teach in areas of practice in which they are current administrators or staff persons, allowing students to learn directly about the operations, policies and expenditures of human services agencies. The faculty-director of the major will teach the basic courses in the major, advise students about career opportunities and oversee the fieldwork placements.
