Valerie is a Risk Executive with experience across a wide range of issues facing companies today related to technology, finance, data privacy, governance, and risk mitigation, among other things. She has a fantastic background in risk management and a tech-focused, entrepreneurial mindset. She mentors business owner and founders from growing companies at the University of Chicago’s Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Chicago Innovation. She is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CTA (Certified Trust Auditor), GE Six Sigma Greenbelt.
