15th Annual International Symposium on Digital Ethics
In Jesuit traditions and education, MAGIS refers to the philosophy of doing "more" or "the greater good" for others. It asks individuals to constantly discern and choose the option that will have the most positive and universal impact. We therefore commemorate our 15th Annual International Symposium on Digital Ethics in this broader theme that connects with our mission-driven priorities at Loyola University Chicago. This event is hosted by the Center for Digital Ethics and Policy.

Volunteer at the Soup Kitchen with Community Service & Action
Every Tuesday and Friday, a group of Loyola students volunteer at the St. Thomas of Canterbury Soup Kitchen to prepare and serve a meal. We meet Tuesdays and Fridays in Damen 232 at 3:30pm, we then travel to the St. Thomas of Canterbury soup kitchen in Uptown and we get back to campus around 7:30pm.

Call for Papers!
As part of Ignatian Heritage Month, the Hank Center for the Catholic Intellectual Heritage and Loyola University Campus Ministry invite undergraduate and graduate students to participate in a research colloquium dedicated to the great Salvadoran priest and theologian, Jon Sobrino. The theme of this year’s colloquium is: Beauty and the Commitment to Justice. Paper proposals should be no longer than approximately 250 words and should be emailed to Dr. T. Derrick Witherington (twither@luc.edu) no later than October 1.
