Each November, the Loyola University Chicago community comes together in a variety of settings to celebrate and reflect on our Ignatian heritage and its continued influence on our work today. Jesuit Heritage Month is both a tradition and an invitation to deeper contemplation and renewed action.

All Things Ignatian Special Topics: AI and Jesuit Education

Join Loyola faculty members as they lead conversations about how AI and Jesuit education intersect in the wider community. This series will involve hearing from AI experts, connecting with colleagues across the university, and workshop space for critically exploring what an Ignatian-informed relationship to AI could look like in your role at LUC. These Zoom conversations will take place on November 3, 10, 17, 2026 from 3:00-4:30 PM. Topics include, "AI & Impact on the Dignity of the Person," "The Philosophies of Silicon Valley and Magnifica Humanitas," and "AI Saves Lives!"

Daily Examens for Jesuit Heritage Month

The Examen is the foundational form of prayer for Ignatius of Loyola, as it is rooted in one’s experience, emotions, and recognition of the on-going gifts that are offered to each of us uniquely. Sunday Mass

Campus Ministry nurtures Catholic life at Loyola through the celebration of the Mass and other sacraments as well as opportunities for communal prayer and Eucharistic Adoration. While Madonna della Strada Chapel is the center of Catholic Life on Loyola's Lake Shore Campus, Campus Ministry offers opportunities for Catholic liturgies, prayer, and reflection at Loyola's Water Tower Campus, and Health Sciences Campus in Maywood, IL.
