About

Rosemonde Gurtner is a member of the adjunct faculty in the Italian Studies department at the Loyola Chicago University Rome Center, she also works at The American University of Rome as a lecturer in Italian and where she worked as a teacher trainer. She holds a Laurea in Lingue e Letterature Straniere (University of Rome La Sapienza), a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Language and New Technology from Hull University, U.K., and the European Certification for Teaching Italian as a Second Language CEDILS - from Cà Foscari University of Venice. Since 2001, she has been active in her field of specialisation by serving in the following positions: Lecturer and Instructional Designer at the University of Trieste’s Language Centre; Teacher Trainer for ENAIP, a network of services for careers training; Collaborator with AICLU, the Italian Association of University Language Centers; onsultant for Alma Edizioni; Italian Lecturer at Roma Tre University.
