Lake Shore Campus - Faculty Senators
In 2024, two faculty members from the Lake Shore Campus will be elected to University Senate. Below are the candidacy statements for the faculty on the ballot.
Teresa Calpino
Advanced Lecturer, Department of Theology
College of Arts and Sciences
I m currently serving as both a faculty member and as the Director of Mission Integration for CAS Humanities. I would be able to bring the Ignatian Mission perspective and the insights of an NTT faculty member to the Senate.
Cara Forster
Research and Learning Librarian, Department of Biology, Department of Philosophy
College of Arts and Sciences
Cara is a faculty librarian on the Lake Shore Caompus who works with Loyola's Biology and Philosophy departments, as well as the undergraduate health sciences programs. As a 2nd term senator, Cara hopes to continue pushing for transparent and equitable treatement of all Loyolans.
David Posner
Chair and Associate Professor of French
College of Arts and Sciences
I’m honored to have been nominated to represent LSC faculty in the Faculty Senate. If elected, I will strive to represent the interests of faculty and of the entire LUC community to the best of my ability. I am committed to listening, to advocacy, and to working with all constituencies, especially those whose voices sometimes struggle to be heard, to help LUC fulfill its mission as a Jesuit Catholic university.
