Come Celebrate With Us: Community Holiday Party

Loyola Neighborhood News: Lake Shore Campus - V3, I4

Save the date! This year’s Community Holiday Party hosted at Loyola University Chicago in Mundelein Center for the Fine and Performing Arts is Thursday, December 15, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Returning this year is Sacred Heart’s Children’s Choir that will sing a selection of holiday songs to begin the evening.  Also featured will be a collection of art work brought in from local artists in Rogers Park and Edgewater.

The 2011 committee includes over twenty organizations that help plan, promote, and manage the Community Holiday Party.  A huge hit last year, the committee is exploring the return of Loyola’s student a cappella group and the use of local caterers and florists to create a stunning space for guests to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments as they kick-off the holiday season.

Please mark your calendars and plan to bring one packaged food or canned good to support A Just Harvest, Care for Real, Howard Area Community Center, and St. Ignatius Food Pantry as your ticket for this enjoyable evening.
