Ammar Bahrani (BBA '07)

Chief Financial Officer, Cariloop

Why did you want to join the Loyola University Chicago Alumni Association Board of Directors and/or why have you continued for another term on the board?
Loyola shaped my values and career, and serving on the Alumni Association Board is my opportunity to give back and strengthen the Rambler network. As AI becomes a bigger part of our daily lives, I believe our alumni community can help students and graduates avoid overreliance on technology by fostering critical thinking, creativity, mentorship, and meaningful human connections.

What is one of your favorite Loyola memories as a student and/or alum?
One of my favorite Loyola memories is running into Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt on campus in the early 2000s. Long before her Final Four fame, she greeted every student with kindness, encouragement, and genuine care.
