Why did you choose to become a CS Minor: I wanted to explore the academic side of my Catholic faith and I wanted to join a community of people who liked talking about the intellectual tradition of Catholicism. Also we eat a lot of good food together and I'm all about that.

What is a fond memory you’ve had as a CS minor: The planning meeting for our 2018 JCM Forum. It was so fun to work with new and old CS minors to brainstorm ideas for the spring forum. On that note, everyone mark your calendars for April 10th it's going to be great!

Favorite Saint: St. Clare of Assisi.

Career Goals and Aspirations: That's a good question. All I really know is that I want to work with people and help people/companies achieve their goals.

Favorite Catholic Author: J.R.R Tolkien. Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit... Do I need to say more?

Best Catholic Studies class taken at Loyola: Church in the World with Father Renczes in Rome. Take it if you get the chance to study at the Rome Center. Fr. Renczes is a wealth of knowledge (and he knows/works with the Pope!!)

Favorite Service Experience: I went on an ABI to a L'Arche community in Canada last winter and it was one of the best weeks of my college career. Everyone I met greeted me with such love, it is one of my fondest memories!

Most important idea of all time: Eating meals together. There's something so powerful about sitting down and sharing a good meal with people. I once wrote a speech on that...

Most important invention: Showers

Inspiration to do Good: My family <3

Central idea of Catholic thought that intrigues you: The communal celebration of the Mass

Favorite Food: Pasta, 110%

Favorite type of Music/ Favorite Song: Christmas Music - The Christmas Song

Crazy fad went through in the past: At one point I was really into wearing the color brown.....

Qualities valued in a person: Honesty, respect, humor

If named the president of Loyola, what would you do as your first presidential act: No more written tests, lets all talk about what we learn instead.

Nicknames: Amelia (it is NOT my actual name)

Pizza Topping: Pesto pizza all the way!

Favorite Season: Fall/Winter. Bring on the snow!

Meet anyone past or present, who would it be? Mary Queen of Scots, talk about an awesome Catholic woman!

If you could be omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, or omnibenevolent, which would it be? Omnipresent - I could be everywhere all at once - think of what I could accomplish!

Favorite Olympic Sport (Summer or Winter): Ice Skating (Winter) Gymnastics (Summer)

Favorite movie quote: I'm not saying it applies to my life but it makes me laugh every single time: "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve" - Bilbo Baggins, The Fellowship of the Ring
