The 2023 Undergraduate Research and Engagement Symposium Program

The Undergraduate Research and Engagement Symposium was held during the Celebration of Student Achievements, Scholarship, and Creative Works, on April 22nd, 2023. It was exciting to host the event in person for the first time since 2019!
While the event was held in person, we invited students to archive their presentations. Please visit the eCommons to see some of the great work that was shared this year.
The Undergraduate Research and Engagement Symposium features presentations on undergraduate research and community engagement projects supported by LUROP fellowships, external programs, academic courses, service-learning experiences, internships, or community partnerships. The symposium engages the diverse ways undergraduate students advance Loyola’s Jesuit mission of “expanding knowledge in service to humanity through learning, justice, and faith.”
The next Undergraduate Research and Engagement Symposium will be held on April 20th, 2024. Registration will open on October 2nd, 2023.
