The Undergraduate Research and Engagement Symposium (URES)
Saturday, April 22, 2023

Each year, the Undergraduate Research and Engagement Symposium features presentations on undergraduate research and community engagement projects supported by LUROP fellowships, external programs, academic courses, service-learning experiences, internships, or community partnerships. The symposium engages the diverse ways undergraduate students advance Loyola’s Jesuit mission of “expanding knowledge in service to humanity through learning, justice, and faith.” This year, we are hosting Loyola's Undergraduate Research and Engagement Symposium in person on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

Whether you are a student, faculty or staff member, or community partner, we are glad that you’re interested in the Undergraduate Research & Engagement Symposium. Use the menu to the left of this page to find out more about the symposium and how to get involved.

In Spring 2023, the Undergraduate Research and Engagement Symposium will be returning in person during the Celebration of Student Achievements, Scholarship, and Creative Works, (April 13 - 23, 2023).

All those wishing to submit research or community engagement presentations for the Undergraduate Research and Engagement Symposium must complete this registration form. Registration is due by Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 11:59 pm CT.
