Critical Inquiry and Engagement

Saturday, April 13th, 2019

Thank you for joining us at the 2019 Undergraduate Research & Engagement Symposium! 2019's theme, Critical Inquiry and Engagement, honors the various ways Loyola undergraduate students explore, inquire into, and reflect upon the process of co-creating knowledge through research, community-based learning, and learning portfolios.

Each year, as part of the university-wide Weekend of Excellence, the symposium features oral and poster presentations on undergraduate research and community engagement projects supported by LUROP fellowships, external programs, academic courses, service-learning experiences, internships, or community partnerships. The Undergraduate Research & Engagement Symposium engages the diverse ways undergraduate students advance Loyola’s Jesuit mission of “expanding knowledge in service to humanity through learning, justice, and faith.”

Whether you are a student, faculty or staff member, or community partner, we are glad that you’re interested in the Undergraduate Research & Engagement Symposium. Use the menu to the left of this page to find out more about the symposium and how to get involved.
