Graduate Student Worker
I am a CS researcher at Loyola University Chicago working on making AI systems reliable enough to actually trust. Before research, I spent several years building and maintaining production software, which gave me a fairly direct view of how systems fail and who bears the cost when they do.
Most of my work right now lives in three places: whether LLMs can write and fix verified TLA+ specifications, how federated learning systems hold up against adversarial manipulation, and detecting harmful behavior in online conversations. The last of these is funded by the NSF SaTC program.
I work with Dr. Yasin Silva and Dr. Mohammed Abuhamad.
