Welcome to the Loyola Community
Orientation, and the transition to college, is a family event, and we want you to know that the faculty and staff of Loyola University Chicago are dedicated to supporting and easing your family's transition to Loyola. We're here to help during every step of the process.
As part of this transition, students can register up to two guests in their Student Portal when they register for orientation. Options for parents/family members include attending orientation in-person with your student, or attending a virtual orientation webinar (webinar dates below).
Guests are also welcome to attend a virtual session in addition or in lieu of attending an in-person session. Virtual family orientation dates and times are below.

If your student has questions about what needs to be completed prior to Orientation, please refer them to the Before Orientation page. To learn more about your student's specific Orientation program, please select the option for either First-Year or Transfer student Orientation.
