I am a lecturer in philosophy. My published work focuses on the late Platonic dialogues (particularly, the Philebus and Statesman), and Aristotle’s ethics. Outside of ancient philosophy, I am interested in (the history of) ethics, and (the history of) political philosophy. Recently, I have been working on how the Aristotelian political tradition developed over time (particularly in the works of Aquinas, and then in the 19^th and 20^th centuries in works by figures such as Luigi Taparelli and Pope Leo XIII).
