OAT

All American optometry schools require the Optometry Admission Test (OAT) for applications. The OAT is a comprehensive exam that covers subjects in natural sciences (biology, chemistry, organic chemistry), reading comprehension, physics, and quantitative reasoning. Applicants should plan well in advance for their OAT to adequately schedule, study for, and take the exam prior to submitting their optometry school application.
