Black Excellence Awards
The Quinlan School of Business announces our first annual Black Excellence Awards. Created to celebrate Black leaders on our campus and in the community, the awards will honor students, alumni, and members of the business community who embody the values of inclusion, equity, and leadership.
You are invited to submit nominations for the 2023 Black Excellence Awards. The full awards criteria are listed on the submission website and are summarized below:
- Distinguished Alumni Leadership Award: The alumni award is presented to a Quinlan graduate who has made a positive difference in and outstanding contributions to the Black community.
- Student Leadership Awards: The student awards are given to a Quinlan undergraduate student and a Quinlan graduate student who are well-rounded leaders in the Loyola or business community. We encourage nominations of students who are actively involved in a Loyola student organization or activity.
- Community Leadership Award: The community award is given to a leader who has created lasting change and measurable difference in the Chicagoland area or business community, particularly within the Black community, and who serves as a role model in community leadership.
Submit your nominations by Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Central. Award recipients will be notified in early April and receive their awards at the Black Excellence Dinner later that month.
