Lisa McLuckie

Instructor of Accounting

McLuckie, who joins Loyola as an instructor and faculty advisor of Beta Alpha Psi, has an extensive background in accounting, having worked in public accounting, internal auditing, and industry, specializing in taxation and accounting education. Her research focuses on how emerging technologies like AI are changing accounting and how people make decisions.

Now, she’s excited to do what she enjoys the most: teach and mentor others in how accounting affects the decisions organizations make every day. She’s looking forward to bringing real-world examples into her classroom and helping students understand the language of accounting.
