Course Description
This non-majors course deals with the development of basic chemical principles. Multiple perspectives of matter will be used to describe and explain characteristics, properties, and relationships across the following topics: atomic structure, nuclear chemistry, periodicity, molecular structure, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, thermochemistry, aqueous solutions, gases Outcomes: Students will learn the foundational concepts of chemistry in these topic areas and develop skills in scientific problem solving and critical thinking.Synchronous Class Meeting: Instruction will be delivered online synchronously following the days/times indicated on the schedule.
