Early Summer Session

With more than 300 college summer courses, it's easy to find the best classes to help you reach your goals.

Important dates you should know

  • Late registration for each session
  • Withdrawing from class without grade penalties
  • Make-up classes due to major holidays

Please refer to this table, which is important to your academic status, when adding and dropping courses. Also note that the Academic Calendar is independent from the Bursar Withdrawal Calendar. 

Early Session

May 20 - June 14 (4 weeks)

Session Schedule

  • May 20: Session Begins, Late Registration Begins
  • May 21: Late Registration Ends at 11:59 p.m. CDT
  • May 21: Last Day To Drop a Course without a grade of "W"
  • May 27: No Classes, Memorial Day
  • May 31: Makeup Day for Memorial Day
  • June 7: Last Day to Withdraw with a grade of "W" (Becomes "WF" after)
  • June 14: Session Ends

2022 Tuition Refund Schedule
(2024 Dates Coming February 2024!)

  • May 23-24: 100%
  • May 25-28: 50%
  • May 29 and Later: 0%

July 1 – August 9 (6 weeks)
June 3 – July 26 (8 weeks)
Student responsibilities

By registering for classes, you accept responsibility for paying all tuition and other fees associated with these classes.

If your academic plans change, you must take action to withdraw from your classes. Failure to attend class does not result in an automatic withdrawal or removal of charges from your student account.

You may withdraw from courses using LOCUS.
