Course Description
An introduction to the basic elements of drawing including: line, value, texture, volume, shape, proportion, perspective and visual composition. A variety of drawing materials will be explored with an emphasis on observation problems designed to build technical, perceptual, and personal expressive interpretation of form through the drawing idiom. . Outcome: Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic drawing principles and vocabulary, through practice and articulation of both formal and artistic ideas.Asynchronous Class Meeting: All instruction for this section will be delivered online asynchronously.
