Course Description
This course traces the development and of western civilization and its global impact from the seventeenth century to the present. Outcomes: Students will gain an understanding of history as a discipline, develop critical thinking skills based on historical knowledge about the key people, places, and events that shaped the modern world, and hone their communication skills.This is a writing intensive class. A grade of C- or better in UCWR 110 is required to enroll.
Synchronous Class Meeting: Instruction will be delivered online synchronously following the days/times indicated on the schedule.
