Course Description
This course is an introduction to the history of the United States from the colonial era through the Civil War. Outcomes: Students will demonstrate an understanding of Native American societies, the impact of European colonization, the creation and evolution of democratic institutions in a multicultural society, the geographic expansion of the United States, and the impact of slaveryAsynchronous Class Meeting: All instruction for this section will be delivered online asynchronously.
