Reimagine
For the past several years, Loyola has made major investments in the Loyola Student Experience, through five stages. The first three phases -- which include the construction of the new Norville Center for Intercollegiate Athletics, the renovation of Gentile Center renovation and the completion of the Damen Student Center -- are complete.
Phase 4, the renewal of the Halas Sports Center, a workout facility used by students and the campus community, is expected to be completed in 2014. The 20,000-square-foot renovation will add or upgrade: group exercise and dance studio, cardio room, group cycling/spinning, strength-training room and weight room.
The final phase of Reimagine will focus on Centennial Forum as Loyola's face on Sheridan Road. The renovation will be home to a new Wellness Center, a bookstore, a vollyball court, Student Development offices, as well as retail spaces.
