Professional education for family business

With the help of Loyola’s Executive and Professional Education Center, we offer tailored education to meet the needs of family businesses. Classes are taught by Quinlan faculty and focus on building skills and awareness in areas such as finance and accounting, governance, and planning. We also work with family businesses to design custom programs.

Strategic planning, good governance, and family meetings contribute to successful family businesses. We often collaborate with member families in planning annual family meetings and facilitating learning sessions at shareholder meetings. Blind Board Search

The Center often helps members fill open board seats using a blind board search process. We help create a prospectus, send it out through our channels and channel partners, collect bios and resumes, and forward eligible candidates to the member company. If you are interested in this service, contact us at fbc@luc.edu.

Library

Need information about a specific topic related to family business? Center members can request materials (hardcopy or digital) from our collection of periodicals, books, audio- and videotapes, reference materials, and monographs.
