Frequently Asked Questions

Can I enroll in more than 18 credit hours?

First-year first-semester students are not able to enroll in more than 18 credits. We recommend that you enroll in 14-17 credits during your first semester. To maintain full-time enrollment status, you must register for a minimum of 12 credits.

After your first year, you may appeal to take over 18 credits using the form found on https://www.luc.edu/fsya/currentstudents/academicforms/
