Eleonora Corsini
An Italian with international roots, Eleonora is a journalist and sociologist specializing in Development. She is presently responsible for communication at the Uman Foundation – Giving and Innovating, Rome. Previously she worked at the Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, organizing an international course in Social Media and Human Rights. She was researcher for a study on Economic Regional Development Across Europe, for the Superior School St Anna of Pisa, and was formerly a journalist at CNN International in Paris. As a freelance writer in Italy she has published more than 100 articles/features. Eleonora holds a double MSc in Globalisation and Development from SOAS University – London – and La Sapienza University – Rome, and a postgraduate diploma in journalism from the London School of Journalism. She is an avid reader, she plays guitar and is passionate about theater, hiking and travelling. She speaks fluent Italian, French, English and Portuguese, and good Spanish.
