I carry on an active spiritual direction ministry. I also became ordained as a protestant minister of the Gospel and have officiated three marriages. I serve as elder and adult Bible teacher at Christ Church of Oak Brook. I have mentored two students from Hinsdale Central High School on research projects. I am a continuing member of the organizing committee for 6 International Symposia on Recurrence Plots. My scientific publications include 5 edited books, 6 peer-reviewed journal articles, 6 book chapters, 9 abstracts, and 2 software packages.
