Examen - 10 2025
Transcript
Take a few slow breaths. Settle into stillness.
Become aware of this present moment of your body, your breath, your mind, your heart. Notice that you are held in a spirit of kindness and compassion.
Bring to mind the gift of creativity in your life. You may not think of yourself as creative but Perhaps you are creative in problem-solving.
Perhaps you have to be creative in cooking or caring for others. Or in music, writing, or art.
Or in the way you bring beauty, humor, or imagination into everyday spaces.
Let gratitude rise for the ways creativity flows through you, whether quiet or bold. Take a moment to rest in appreciation for this spark of life within you.
Gently look back over the past day or week if you have to. Where did you notice your creative energy flowing?
Times of joy, freedom, play, or inspiration.
Notice one or two moments when you felt alive in your creativity
Now take a moment to notice the times when you did not feel creative, times when you felt blocked, pressured, or self-critical. And one or two moments when your creative spark felt dim.
Hold these experiences with gentleness, without judgment, simply noticing. Bring what you noticed into this space of awareness.
If you feel gratitude, dwell in it.
If you feel frustration, acknowledge it with honesty.
If you feel longing for more creativity, name that longing.
Imagine compassion meeting you right where you are.
Rest in the truth that your worth is not in what you create, but in who you are.
Turn your attention toward tomorrow, or the days ahead. Where might creativity invites you next?
Perhaps in an artistic practice or in listening deeply, in shaping words with care, in problem-solving, or in nurturing others.
Take the time Ask for openness:
“May I welcome the spirit of creativity in whatever form it comes. May I create with courage, joy, and love.”
If you like, ask the Creator who created everything to journey with you through your creativity.
Return to your breath.
Inhale... receiving fresh energy.
Exhale ...releasing what no longer serves you.
Take a moment of silence, and when you are ready, gently return to the present with gratitude.
Go in peace, love and creativity.
