Intro –
Hello, I am Jose Rosales. I'm a student at Arrupe college of Loyola. Today I will lead you guys on an examen about hope.
To start off, we are going to ground ourselves.
Find a nice, quiet place. Somewhere you find peace in. Find a comfortable sitting position or laying Somewhere where your body and muscles feel relaxed for your attention to be all on the examen. You can close your eyes or have a soft gaze to them.
Let's take 3 deep breaths (3 long ins and outs)
Feel the energy pulsing in you, radiating around you
Take this time to acknowledge some sort of higher (god, spirits)
Feel the present near you and welcoming, peaceful, warm, and guiding. Reflecting onto hope -
As you get more at peace, place yourself at the beginning of the Summer is coming to an end. Are you anticipating greatness this semester?
Let's reflect on how you expect from yourself through this
Its august 25th, starting You are meeting new people and getting new materials. You feel excited to gain more knowledge
Maybe meeting new people
Maybe getting more involved
Imagine the feeling of success after completing this
Things are new and different, but you feel stronger and at ease as you get the hang of it
As September beings, a whole new wave of thoughts came to
An event happened at the beginning
How did that affect your life?
People around you
Yourself?
Did you recover?... is it still being worked on?
As you go further down the month, there's .. classes, maintaining a social life, events at school, work.
Everything seems to pile up, and you're being pulled in different directions
You might feel overwhelmed? Not knowing what to do?
How are you centering yourself? Lining up all your events? Balancing everything? How are you maintaining hope?
As you expiring all these emotions you find the little things recharging you
Maybe you feel joy, happiness, maybe even sadness? Anger?
But you recall what you expected of yourself from this semester
At the end of the month, midterms come They came out of nowhere. How are you balancing that? Are you stressed out? Overworked? Do you feel prepared to take them?
As October rolls around, everything becomes more Everything is getting piled up
Maybe you are looking forward for Halloween to hang out with your friends
Days are moving Maybe feeling these hard moments with society and how everything is being handled right now.
Assignments are being handed out left and right
You're balancing out friends, your job, and
But you remind yourself of how successful you wanted to be at the beginning of the semester
October comes and goes
November comes around and it seems like the semester is near the end, but you keep pushing.
You have to keep remembering how successful you wanted to be at the beginning of the
You're .. you have to do your homework... work for money. study on top of that
But you have to remember you're doing this for
All the obstacles you've had to face
Whether it’s getting up each day to go to .. do your work.
It’s paying off
Youve worked for this
You may think it's the end of the But it's not. The world didn't end when you got a bad grade on a test. You persevered. You studied more. For all your tests.
You deserve this
This semester is only a little puzzle piece of the bigger
You got this
Don't doubt yourself
You have big dreams ahead of you
At the beginning of the semester, you wanted to be Be more knowledgeable on certain topics... and you are
