Registering for Classes

Loyola Chicago Students

Login to LOCUS and register for JFRC classes just as you do for Chicago classes.  Your registration access time is assigned by the Office of Registration & Records prior to the opening of registration.

All Rome sections begin with the prefix "A--" so that is one clue to tell you that you are registering for the correct section.  Check the LOCUS list for classes.

If you have logged into LOCUS and are attempting to register at your appointed time but you encounter difficulties, then call the HelpDesk at (773) 508-4487.  To learn your registration time, simply log onto LOCUS and view your Student Center; in the box labeled "Enrollment Dates," you should see a memo telling you the date you are eligible to enroll.  If you click onto "details," you will find the time at which you are eligible to begin registering.

Do not attempt to register before your scheduled time and day; you will not be able to do so.

How to Login to LOYOLA Chicago's System

You will be e-mailed your Loyola UVID along with instructions on how to learn your initial password, which you will need to change immediately.

Go to www.luc.edu/password to "reset" your password; you must create your own password, as your initial password will not allow you to login to LOCUS and expires as soon as you use it.  If you have any questions about any of these instructions, please contact the LUC HelpDesk

All charges will be due no later than the 5th of the month following. If Loyola is billing your institution for your charges, then you must pay your home institution and not Loyola.

For those of you paying Loyola directly, you will only be e-billed for your charges; no paper statements will be mailed to your home address.  Consequently it is your responsibility to inform your parents of due dates and other deadlines as they will have no other way of knowing.
