Visit Us

The best way to learn about the School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) is to visit us!

Schedule an Appointment

Schedule a one-on-one appointment with an admission counselor to discuss your program of interest and how Loyola may be right for you. If you cannot find a time that works for you or have any other questions, contact us.

Request a Free Transfer Credit Evaluation

Determine how your transfer credit applies to a Loyola degree and your timeline to completion by requesting a Free Transfer Credit Evaluation. The transcript evaluation is an unofficial document, and an error will not exempt you from a requirement.

Transfer Friendly

Loyola SCPS accepts transfer credit earned from community colleges and regionally accredited universities.

The maximum number of transfer semester hours is 64 (or 96 quarter hours) from all two-year colleges combined. Does your credit transfer? The website itransfer.org can help.

The average number of transfer credits accepted from previous college courses, corporate or military training, and proficiency tests is 45. Learn more about prior learning credit.

We are happy to meet with you to discuss your program of interest and how Loyola may be right for you. To schedule your one-on-one appointment with our admissions team, visit our calendar of events. If you cannot find a time that works for you, we encourage you to contact us via email and we can work with you to find a time to meet.

Students who have completed either an A.A., A.S., or General Education Core Curriculum (GECC) at their community college will have the Loyola core curriculum requirements met.

Illinois Articulation Initative (IAI)

Loyola is a receiving institution in the Illinois Articulation Initiative program for awarding transfer credit. Students who have completed 30 or more transfer credits may follow either the Illinois General Education curriculum or the Loyola CORE requirements to satisfy general education requirements. Students with less than 30 will follow the CORE. We’ll advise you how to choose the most effective path for you. Just submit your transcripts. For more information, see itransfer.org.

Transferology

Transferology allows student to create an account and track how their classes from prior institutions will transfer to Loyola. Learn more here: https://www.transferology.com/index.htm.
