Stamm Procedural Training Center & Bedside Teaching Lab
Stamm Procedural Training Center & Bedside Teaching Lab, Health Sciences Campus
The 2,200-square-foot Stamm Procedural Training Center and Bedside Teaching Lab offers flexible space and hands-on training models to help learners acquire mastery of basic procedural skills at their own pace. Its two large, separate rooms allow learning at individual stations or in large groups. Both teaching and assessment are performed in realistic settings to prepare students with the skills training they need to support their patients. Practicing in a safe environment on models, rather than patients, allows learners to make risk-free mistakes, and learn from them.
Stamm’s open space lab is designed for flexibility and efficiency. Privacy curtains in the Bedside Teaching area allow for confidential competency testing. Task training models and supplies are located within Stamm. CSE staff set up each session to align with learning objectives.
The CSE maintains an extensive inventory of equipment and supplies to meet the needs of a wide variety of simulation modalities. We are happy to assist with obtaining additional equipment or supplies as needed for a specific training or simulation.
