Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s with Master of Communication in Digital Media and Storytelling or Global Strategic Communication
Undergraduate students working on a BA/BS in the School of Environmental Sustainability may be eligible to enroll in an accelerated bachelor’s/master’s program to earn either an MC in Digital Media and Storytelling or an MS in Global Strategic Communication from the School of Communication. Students working on a BA in the School of Communication (Communication Studies, Advocacy and Social Change, Advertising and Public Relations, Advertising Creative, Multimedia Journalism, or Film and Digital Media) may be able to enroll in an accelerated bachelor’s/master’s program to earn an MS in Environmental Science and Sustainability from the School of Environmental Sustainability. Environmental degradation is one of the most daunting challenges of the 21st century and therefore requires people with specialized training to facilitate and communicate impactful solutions. Loyola University Chicago's School of Environmental Sustainability and the School of Communication are partnering to offer unique interdisciplinary dual-degree programs designed to train environmental scientists to be better communicators and communication professionals to understand environmental science better.
