Social Work Minor
Students of social work are better informed about social welfare problems and the systems of care in place to address those problems. A minor in social work provides students with foundational social work theory and prepare you to engage with at-risk populations.
Students interested in a social work minor are required to take a sequence of six courses (totaling 18 credit hours) which must include four required courses and two social work electives. Grades of “C” or better must be earned in all minor courses.
